yellow pucks in glove box

Hey everyone! First post. It's been 3 years since I've had a sports car and I decided to buy one of these left over Z28's. Mine specifically came with these yellow pucks in the glove box. No one at the dealership knew what they were for. Any help would be appreciated!

They're probably spring spacers from when the car came in on the flatbed.

They twist those into the suspension springs for additional ground clearance when loading and unloading the cars, then pull them out during the PDI process when the car's up on the hoist.

That makes sense. Probably worth keeping if I plan to transport it then. I just won't leave them chilling in the glove box. Thanks!

What do the spacers look like on the Z28?
Here are the ones for the Camaro ZL1 pulled off another thread:

they are the shipping spring spacers used for 1" or so more clearance to keep scraping to a minimum unloading from the carriers. I use them when I trailer my Z/28.

That's hauling around unsprung weight Zed Sled! I'm just going to leave them at home until I decide I need to haul the car some place.

Thinking more along the lines of a flat tire on the side of the freeway 500 miles from home and calling for a rollback.

Now this is someone that thinks like I do. You must have a glovebox/console as full as I do.

That does make sense. I don't drive the car too far out of town, if I do I will trailer it. that said, doesn't change you can have a flat tire anywhere.
