Picked up the 2011 RS in Rally Yellow on the 16th and found the website a couple of days later.

Injen is ordered and should be in late next week, my son hooked me up with a deal at the local muffler shop next Saturday for new Flowmasters , and the LEDs and trim pieces should be in any day.

As the song says "gonna have me some fun..."

Injen is installed and running good. Decided against the flowmasters at the local shop after talking to the guy - he didn't really "get it".

Ordered the MRT 2.0 from Morano tonight, they should arrive Monday. Will put them on myself at my son's shop then have them welded.

Welcome to the site! Injen is a great CAI and the MRT will sound great paired with it.

I'm curious as to what your shop guy didn't get about it? Did he think the flowmasters would sound bad on the V6...or maybe he thought installation was too tough??

That was the case with some of the local shops around here....there are no real speed shops in my area. I took my car in when I first looking to get my magnaflows and they lifted it up in the air and did nothing but shake their head and acted like there just wasn't any room to do the job. They were making all kinds of assumptions and trying to tell me what to do....I didn't even argue and just left the place.

Ended up driving an hour to find a place that finally took GREAT care of me.

Shop guy said he would have to modify the flowmasters to get them to fit (?!?!?) and they would hang lower than the stock exhaust. He wasn't going to use the kit, but make it from parts.

Didn't like that answer...

Welcome to the forum. I think you'll enjoy your first two mods. Was gonna suggest the SOLO catback it fit's very well when you bolt it up to the stock headers and downpipe and has a nice sound but looks like you're well on your way. Lot's of helpful info here and lot's of great ppl here too.
