The no lift shift is essentially with a Supercharged/Turbocharged vehicle. I think all muscle cars have it tho. If the gears are moving fast enough then they sink together without grinding, also in reality this has been done in the past LONG before gm tried to market it todat. I personally tried it on mine at high RPM's and it worked with tire chirp on second and third "BUT" I was only experimenting. I'm pretty sure I won't be doing this on a regular basis.

Been no lift shifting since 1967 . And if done right it is fun ,if done wrong it's expensive . I found out early on back in the day that M22's and M21's were not as strong as T10's if your power shifts were not perfect.

And "not perfect" is easy to do and pretty hard on the whole driveline.
