Door ambient help

Hey guys I'm trying to install ambient door panels and need some help. I need to spice the ambient light wires into the window switch cables seeing how my car is a 1ss but I'm not sure which cable I'm splicing Into.... I'm guessing black ground will go straight into the black wire but which one am i supposed to splice into for power....? Help please

Door ambient help

Do you have any kind of voltage tester or even a simple light up power tester? I'm thinking purple is your ambient lighting.

I installed them on my 12 1ss as well and for some reason I can’t get the light to go off on the driver side. It stays on when I remove the keys and lock the doors.

Seems like you tapped into an always-on power source. What wire did you use for the positive ?
