Solo performance exhaust

Just wanted to give a shout out to Solo. Received and installed my exhaust on my 2012 SS/RS LS3 vert and all I can say is WOW! Thank you Solo. Looks and sounds amazing. Great customer service and all around great experience. If you are considering exhaust I highly recommend checking them out. Sounds super mean when you get on it and quiet as stock at idle and cruise.

^^^^ Love my Solo axle back J-pipes but I don't agree they are quiet on start up and Idle.
Mine snap, crackle, pop when starting and have a deep rumble at Idle.
The stock SS exhaust was very quiet in comparison Imo.
Plus wait until you have them on for awhile- Mine just seem to get louder all the time.

Agreed- Also drone free at any RPM on my L99.
My SS will be at the c5fest3 exhaust demonstration if anyone wants
to hear these Solo axlebacks in person: Car #48.

I wasn't talking about start up. Just idle. And yes it sounds much better than stock I just love how it is nice and calm when you want it to be but opens up when you get on it. Has anyone tried adjusting the j-pipes to play with the sound?

If you are talking about adjusting the ends, I can't tell that it changes actual sound at all. It does change how much drone it kills though.

I had the Solo mid-pipes/hi-flow cats installed at a good, local shop yesterday (I just didn't want to tackle this on jackstands in my garage and this place does great custom work at very reasonable prices).
All I can say is, WOW! They don't overwhelm you at idle, although they definitely have a deeper, gurglier (not a word, i know) sound note. You really notice them when you get on it at all and there does seem to be a tad more power, which is a nice by-product. LOVE 'EM!!!

I have no drone so I will just leave them the way they came. Thanks for the advice.
