Carbon Fiber Rims

How sweet it would be if there was carbon fiber rims available that match the factory ZL1 rim. Losing that unsprung weight at all 4 corners of the car would be awesome.

It would also be insanely expensive, and if you curb one......well you get the idea....

Will be less expensive and no issues on curbing , if they were made of Frozen Air

I know of horror stories over carbon fibre rims. Stay away.

At $4000. per wheel, it could be a costly weight reduction!

Forgelines offerings at 20 lbs each corner seems good enough don't you think. I wonder what the carbon rims weigh. http://www.carbonfibergear.com/a-ful...ly-does-exist/

I wouldn't worry about the durability. Motorcycles have had CF wheels for years, the technology is insane. Hell some super cars have CF wheels.

They are expensive though, especially if you damage them.
