RPI Design
Just an FYI for everyone. Beware. I had an absolutely bad, worse then bad, transaction with this vendor.
It started back at the end of July. I ordered, and paid for, a set of splash guards. Gloss Black. A few days later, I received a set of Blue splash guards. I called, was told to return them. OK, I can do that and did. We are now at one week into this. Another week goes by, no Gloss Black splash guards. I call again. I was asked if I sent the old ones back. Yes. A week ago. Ok. I don't have any Gloss Black ready. I'll have to paint a set and send them out to you by Wednesday of next week. Ten days later, still no product. We are now into over three weeks, almost four weeks, and I still have no product. To make a short story long, I canceled the order and requested my money back. I was told that a check was sent. Never received it. I was told my card would be credited. Never happened. In mid September, I called my card company. They credited my card and went after this vendor. It took almost two months for all this to transpire and got nothing from this vendor. I obviously will Never do business with this vendor again.

I've been wondering if anyone else has had any experience with RPI. Ive tried to order from them online with no luck. Tried calling them and would only get a busy signal or no answer at all. Was actually wondering if they were legit. E-mailed them and got a response from a sales guy but no return messages after confronting them. Don't believe I'll ever try to order from them again or recommend them to anyone.

I've ordered stuff from them in the past. I had a custom engine cover done (painted and hydro dipped in carbon fiber). The clear coat started cracking after only 2 weeks. Sent it back to them. They made a new one for me. However, the second one didn't turn out as nice as the first one, but I didn't want to wait another 4 weeks for this. I've ordered a stretch bra and got it very quickly. But yeah, it can be difficult to get a hold of them.

I've been using them for ages. On my Vettes and order rear Black Out kit from them for the Camaro. Never a problem. Go figure.

Just ordered from them painted door panels, central console...
1st, on one of the door panel paint was a mess as it goes with a finger, and then the ambiance lighting was not effective... Stay away from this company. To be in touch with them particularly by phone...do not even think abiut it. there are so many good internet companies, so do not bother taking any risk with this one. |
