What's going on?

So the car was having some issues. Rewind: Bought vehicle in Texas recently 50k miles, 2010 SS. Was in shop for "throttle body issues and VLOM fix" before I purchased.

Car drove fine other than it having a hard time turning over and took a few seconds long than it should (battery tested good), which is why I was taking it into a shop today. Halfway there on the highway, traction control lights kicked on, CEL light kicked on, car started violently shaking and would not go over 40 mph.

Any thoughts or am I screwed?

Ok, I'll give that a shot. I have it in the shop, so hopefully they'll check that. Thanks.
