Saturn Sky Redline Vs 2010 Camaro V6 Mainly.
Haha so this is my second thread about vs cars now. So my girlfriend age 19 is going to purchase this nice looking red used 2009 with 13k miles on it Saturn Sky Redline with a turbo, twin exhaust. I dont know about saturns but as on my previous talk about WRX that my friend has. We were thinking about taking all 3 cars too the track now WRX vs Camaro vs Sky Redline
Who would win and in what order do you guys think? Its a full run. Camaro - 312 HP WRX - 250 HP Sky - 260 HP All Stock Based. My car has small mods. Wrx has some mods. Sky all stock. And i already talked about WRX everyone said it would whoop my ass but its what ever i still get more heads turn but i am mainly focused too see if my girlfriends car can whoop me? I always loved the sky and was my first based car to get before i got a camaro i love the way it looks and drives, oh and its standard! hehe. I will post pics of our cars once we get together if needed. WRX - Manual Camaro - Auto :( Sky - Manual i feel like a noob and the odd one out :( but since she has a manual now i can learn to drive stick and maybe switch my maro out for a standard instead of auto in near future But anyways post your opinions. And no WRX talk please i already know it will win from 0 - 60 >.>.

Redline FTW !!!
Redline stock - 260hp/260tq, 2900 lbs, 3:73 lsd, coil over suspension If the Redline has the GM tune you are way screwed ... 290hp/340tq on the M5

I had an 07 Pontiac Solstice GXP before the Camaro. The V6 Camaro will not stand a chance. With the GMPP tune, my Solstice would hang with my SS. It's not really fair to compare though. The Solstice is more like a street bike than a heavy car. It's got gobs of torque, and handles like a slot car. It has NO room for anything but two passengers. I put 80K miles on mine in just over a year. It was bullet proof! I never had one issue with it, and I beat the snot out of it.
My SS, however, has been broken longer than it has been driven. I love the Camaro, but it seems a little fragile so far.

the Sky will work ya as well... it's running the LNF 2.0 single turbo, and they are FASSST. Also they are SUPER cheep to mod, and respond VERY well to mods... it has the same motor as a Cobalt SS/TC, HHR SS, and Solstace Redline. Watch out for ALL these cars. After market parts for these cars are pretty cheep and very few are stock.

The Camaro is an overall better car. I used my Solstice for a commuter, driving well over 250 miles a day. It's not good for much more than that. You can barely fit a change of clothes in the "trunk". They are quick and flashy, but more of a toy than a DD.

I have to agree with the Sky & Solstice being toys. I take our Redline out once a week to put gas in it and play around for a hour or so. It's like driving a hypo gocart, and truly a poor mans Vette. I think it's a blast pulling a Crystal Gail on a 2010 or earlier Mustang GT ( Blew-By-You) and they just go WTH !!! These cars sell quick, so if in the market and see one, best jump on it while you can.

My wife and I took a trip to daytona beach in our sky, we had plenty of room with the top up to pack a weeks worth of clothes and her accessories (hair drier, makeup kit, etc) you just can't use typical suit cases, we used nylon duffel bags. We enjoyed ours very much, but the Camaro is an all around better and more practical car that gets better gas mileage.

Yeah, performance wise its no contest. With a tune they could hang with an SS. The Sky might even turn more heads, its a sharp looking car and there aren't too many of them. Camaro still looks great, but as more and more are built they grab less and less attention. But hey, at least the Camaro is more practical & won't cost as much for gas
