Camaro rips-off Challenger - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

Has anyone noticed the colors available on the new Camaro? Is it me or did they rip Dodge off on this. Here are the colors available and the corresponding Dodge color. These are VERY similar.

Silver Ice Metallic.............Bright Silver Metallic
Inferno Orange.................Hemi Orange
Victory Red.....................TorRed
Cyber Grey Metallic...........Dark Titanium Metallic
Black..............................Brillian Black Crystal Pearl
Red Jewel Tint Coat..........Inferno Red Crystal Pearl
Imperial Blue Metallic.........Deep Water Blue Pearl
Summit White..................Stone White
Aqua Blue Metallic............B5 Blue

GM does have one original color, Rally Yellow, but for all we know Dodge might release Top Banana or Detonator Yellow like they did on the Charger. Maybe it's just me, but it looks like they've pretty well copied the play book

Just your standard average colors to me

Hmmm, imagine that. A new car that comes in silver, red, grey, black, white and blue. That's crazy. Chevy must have definitely ripped off Dodge.

Colors are chosen by specialists that use focus groups and comsumer research, so your going to end up with the same colors for different manufacturers. They all follow trends and can tell in advance what the hot color for the year will be.

lol.. if you wanna talk about rip off.. lets talk about everyone ripping off who ever stumbled across the color red the very first time hundreds and thousands of years ago...

PS, Victory Red has been a chevy color for a long time...

hmm shouldn't this include Ford for all of their Red, Blue, Silver, White and Black vehicles? oh and don't forget the other models that sell cars with a color.

Lets talk about how Dodge ripped off Chevy for putting Tires on a Vehicle...

Couldn't they of used something other then tires?

Standard colors with slight variations. I guess Dodge ripped off Kia because they sell red, white, blue, black and gray vehicles also.
