1le after Getechniq Ceramic Coating and Suntek Ultra PPF

Gtechniq Crystal Serum Black (Crystal Serum and EXO) Rockers and front covered with Suntek Ultra PPF First Impressions Auto Detail of Sarasota did a great job.

Wow! Looks really good. I went to Instagram link - the narrator says "2017 Chevrolet Corvette" haha! Must not be a Chevy guy.

Question - I assume the 1LE comes with the 6 piston Brembos on the front. I've got them on my SS. With the SS and the dealer installed package, the rear calipers are left as is - gray. Did you rears come from the factory in red, or did you paint them or have the powder coated, and if so what color are they to match the front?

You could always get the VIN from a SS 1LE and have the dealer order the rear Brembo's for you and then swap them out.

Good! I don't think I've seen any 6gen 1LEs around.

I believe the 1LE rear brakes are physically the same as an SS. It would be interesting to see the cost.

I've researched the "Brembo Red" and have an extremely close match. I will post the color after the powder coating is done and can physically verify it - hopefully this week.

The rear Brembo's on the 1LE are exactly the same other than maybe the pad compound, but if you ordered a set using a true 1LE VIN them you would get a red caliper from the dealer ready to go in the correct paint color to match the front 6 piston Brembo.

Otherwise the only other option is to remove the rears and either have them painted or powder coated both which will require new seals unless you go the paint on car method.

I did the same treatment to my 1LE. Clear bra and ceramic coating. Best protection, with a side benefit of easier cleaning

btw.. I grew up in Sarasota

Would you be willing to share how much that cost? It looks fantastic and I'm picking up the same car/color just next week. Very interested in protecting it in a similar fashion
