Remote windows
Since we have the option to roll the windows down remotely, I’m fairly certain somewhere in the software encoding that we as consumers/owners aren’t allowed access to is a way to allow you to roll the windows up as well.
My 2009 Honda Accord had remote windows AND moonroof, open AND close. Any idea how we could make this happen? Maybe an emulator that will trigger the windows up if you hold the lock button down?

Not in the US. They do in Europe and South America. NHTSA won't let them. You'll need to hack the software.

So the NHTSA has nothing to do with it.

The main reason for not going up is STUPID PEOPLE would get their head stuck in the window as it goes up. Remember most of our so-called safety problems are from STUPID PEOPLE. Think back up camera's side mirrors to tell you a car there. Just to list a couple.
