Camaro Welcome Kits – April 30th Deadline
Customers who placed a Camaro early order prior to March 15, 2009 will receive a Welcome Kit. The final batch of Welcome Kits were sent a week ago. If a replacement kit is needed, have your dealer request the kit by April 30, 2009. They can do so in their camaro launch website by utilizing the “Contact Us” feature to request a replacement kit. Please include customer’s name, address and order number. Sharin' the love!

Would the welcome package be the one with the booklet that talks about some of the features or the Camaro??? If so, I received mine about two weeks after I placed my order, 3/19/09. I still haven't been able to get the event # from my dealer. But I am content to wait and bring to his attention anything from this forum that I have serious questions about.

Is there anything else with this "welcome kit"...the booklet has a first page welcome type letter in it. No sketch though, all high gloss interior/exterior pics and information.

The welcome kit includes a print of one of Sangyup Lee's concept sketches (a red RS/SS) featuring your order date, order number, and name, as well as a signed letter from Ed Peper. The letter mentions a code for you to use with a website to get high quality copies of two of Sangyup Lee's sketches (one is the red RS/SS mentioned above and the other is an Orange RS/SS from the rear).
One of the interesting things I noticed is that the print you get is actually squashed horizontally. It may be to make the concept look a little more like the production version.

My dealer FINALLY requested one through Chevy Launch on the last day to get replacements 30 April and he just got a reply today that the Welcome Kit is being resent (LOL like the first one actually got sent)
