Smoke

I was at a light today and smelled smoke. It smell like burning wood not an electrical burn. My fiance asked if it was our car. I didnt think so and we kept going. I got home and pulled into the garage and could see smoke by the drivers side headlight.
I quickly opened the hood. Can smell burning paper but I didn't see anything? The car has 1200 miles on it. This is the first time I experienced this.

Anyone else have this happen to them?
