This will be a interesting one to watch. One of two SIM cars without A/C. I had to have a SIM but I live in the south so it had to have A/C.

I think that Z on BaT has been for sale before, those pics all look familiar to me, even the license plate. It should bring big money since it is one of two. And it has a GM wicker.
I'm a SIM kinda guy, Gorgeous car!

So I have a friend interested in this car as a investment and was wondering if anyone on here knows if the other SIM w/o air and radio is still out there or has it been totaled ? Is there a list on here of Z’s that are gone ??

Last known to be in existence, #280. It had a few thousand miles on it, and was not customer ordered like this one with line built wickerbill.

I’m pretty sure this car has been brought up in this forum a few months ago I remember because of the Pennsylvania/Florida thing. Didn’t know it was local here in SoCal.
What does SIM mean?? |

There are 11 SIM non AC cars - 4 - 2014 production - 2 - 2015 production and 5 - 2014 CTF without AC. 11 total - not the rarest of rare (9 AGM no AC cars) - but still very rare! |

If you look at the production breakdown on that sheet, the two 15 non AC SIM cars represent the lowest % of total production for both model years at a scant 0.15%. Now if you separate this car with line ordered wicker, v the other without, from a production standpoint it's the rarest one built. |

What is a ‘line ordered wicker bill’? Are you saying it was just on the window sticker? I thought they were all dealer installed?

Yes, meaning the car was ordered with it as opposed to added on down the road..much like a ZL2 hood on a 69 Z Wickerbill's are quite popular now,but very few cars came with them. As far as them being installed on the line, i'll defer to the GM guys on here. I would assume they came off the line inside the car along with the splitter and were a part of dealer PDI.
