What is what on the stock exhaust system

Wondering what is what on the stock exhaust, starting at the front? Exhaust manifold, resonators then? cats mufflers? Thanks

2012 45th Anniversary 2SS ~ powder coated factory wheels w/ black lug nuts, tinted windows, factory strut tower brace, Elite Engineering catch can, OEM-sub box, ambient lighting, trunk mat, Black billet front and rear bowties, tinted front and rear side marker lights, tinted fog lights, ADM race air intake with scoop, Roto Fab washer bottle, Black SS strut tower covers, Kooks long tube headers with full Kooks exhaust, Janetty Racing email tune. Best 1/4 mile time so far 13.80

manifolds --> front cats --> rear cats --> H pipe (or if L99 a resonator) --> mufflers --> tips

he didnt make it very clear but in the ss manual there are separate h pipe and resonators, and for auto the h pipe is inside the massive resonators

Too bad most of the restriction is in the headers and cats.... replacing everything after that doesnt really do much, and only changes sound if you don't do anything forward of the res.

+1. Replacing just the cats can net you up to 20HP. I replaced my exhaust from the cats back and zilch. Better sound for sure.
