Unless you have a big motor that's going to spin 7500+ or have lots of boost, then leave it alone.

Like Futural said, it depends on your setup. What mods do you have or what do you have planned?

Heads ported polish, Cam, Longtube TSP headers, Fastlane Cold air intake, 3.91 gears and NX 100-200hp plate NOS kit. I'm going in shop in June so I got time to pick a cam that will work with that intake if it's worth it.

I run this intake,it's a dog from the low end but that was on small 3200stall and 3:27 gears , was planning on boost but decided to stay on motor
Now have a nice vvt cam on the way along with big stall and 3:91s
Will test it out see how she responds

Cheverolade what hood did you run to make it . I just don't see the benefit of fast intake based on dynos I've seen. But the Holley High Ram has potential to grow with you when you keep going for Higher HP

It WILL kill low end torque. Runner length is too short. I would definitely not recommend it for a car with your mod list. Do a modded stock intake and call it a day.

I have a Vortech with 10# of boost, full exhaust, blower cam, 3600 FTI making around 630 rwhp on a mild tune. Do you think it would work with my setup?

I talked with the guys doing my build . He basically told me if your building a stoker motor 416-427 CI then do the Holley high rise intake. I was going to have to change cam fly cut pistons and it wasn't worth the hp with stock 376 block because you going to lose so much torque down low . So I went with Bare Essential Racing ported stock intake and throttle body. That holley high rise still is bad ass intake one day i will have on one.

Yea agree if your forced induction it's perfect I ran 10s all day with it in my 6.0turbo truck , since I modified my firewall and lost a wiper on my Camaro, it's going to stay on lol nitrous will do the trick.

It's the wrong move for our cars...

Heavy Car + Race Intake that needs RPMs = turd down low.

But they look cool.
