my automatic stalled???

I was with a friend late last night in my car and we were doin some shenanigans and stuff like that (we were somewhere in mexico obviously) and then i go to make a u-turn and mid turn i lose my power steering and and the engine shut off but non of the electrical stuff (radio, AC, interior lighting) went off... I rolled to a stop, put the car in park, turned the car off and started it again without a single issue?? so my question is... Did my automatic 2LT just stall on me? or should i be worried about something worse?

That first time I heard of that happening in middle of driving. I know if you try to neutral drop or reverse to fast ot makes automatic cars stall but that goes for many cars.

What exactly were the shenanigans that led up to the event, and why was it obvious that you were in Mexico?

have had it stall just sitting in the drive way, if it is an isolated occurrence I would not worry

no mods, just res. x pipe and straight pipes... was just out driving and everything is perfectly normal.

I didn't think about putting it into neutral and restarting the car... at the point in time where i realized my pedals weren't working i was only goin about 5 mph... so the car stopped in a few seconds... turned the car off and on and no problems... I'm not going to worry about it because it is just an isolated case and nothing seems to be wrong but I was just curious as if it actually stalled...

Why do you ask? Do you have an answer for his question?

OP, I've had two occurrences of my motor stalling while on the highway. It happen both times when I had to get on the brakes hard (because there were many idiots all around me, for all you righteous crusaders), but I have a high stall torque converter and a tune.

Sounds like the power steering shut-off issue that's been going around.

Haven't happen in my Camaro but my other cars if I turn the wheel hard enough it could stall...
So it might just rubbed on something.
