Claybar Lube....
So I forgot to order a designated Claybar Lube... while looking into it more I've began to notice that there are several products and solutions used... That being said is a specific claybar lube necessary, or can I used something I already have to lube it sufficiently? Also whats your preferred lube? and I don't mean KY... haha

Yes, use detail spray, and the cheapest you can find. No need for one that's high-quality since it's just being used as a lube. I currently use Meguiar's, but only because I picked up a few bottles on clearance for ½-off. It's probably not the cheapest out there, but it works fine as a clay lube.
There's also a concentrated detail spray that the Junkman swears by called "Infinite Use Juice." Because it's concentrated, it's super cheap, and goes a long way. I haven't used that one myself, but might be worth looking into as well.

Plain water isn't going to have the lubricity needed for claying.
Any type of detail spray or WW combo will suffice. No need for a "dedicated" clay lube.

Thanks for all the input.. I'll probably run by autozone or somewhere and get some detail spray

I use that for detail spray and clay lube. It's in a concentrate, you can make gallons of this stuff. I bought this a year and a half ago or so and am just below half on the concentrate.

This is the most economical. Some use soapy water. I like detail spray/spray wax for lubricity.
