2ss Header suggestions

I’m interested in buying some long tube headers and need advice on buying some. I have a 2ss l99 , Could you tell me what would fit and what brand would work good..

I want to shop around for price’s so I would need to know what I would look for.
Should I also get high flow cats or will the stock ones be fine to keep..
Right now it is stock with muffler delete

Speed Engineering are the most economical if you don't need cats. If going with longtubes you can't keep the stock ones as they won't fit. If your state requires emissions testing through the tailpipe you will need cats, BUT, if they just test using the OBD reader you can get a tune that will basically fool the reader into thinking you have them so you'll pass inspection.

My state does check emissions from the tail pipe. So I guess I would need high flow cats when i buy my headers. I have a tuner from dynosteve That I bought about a month ago and it worked really good for only running stock.

The ARH stainless headers and 200 cell cats I installed on my LS3 SS many years ago are the best headers I've ever had on a car. Fit perfectly with no issues. You get what you pay for.

Don't Skimp!! I went with LT Kooks with HF Cats, and had them Jet Hot Coated inside and out. I wish I had done the same on my Corvette.
You will forget about the money you think you are saving by the time you are sick of the lack of Quality. If a farmer wants Good Clean Oats he has to pay a fair price, but if he is satisfied with Oats that have been through the Horse there are a lot of bargains out there.

Jannetty sells Stainless powers which I believe they already have coated and are middle of the road price and excellent quality. High flows wouldn't be needed if you aren't adding power in my opinion (they are pricey), but call Jannetty and ask them, I don't think they are worth much as far as power.

If you need cats I would go with TSP in a heart beat. I've heard complaints about every brand except for TSP...

When I bought my ARH LT's and 200 cell HF cats, they were lifetime warranty in non boosted applications. Got to talk with them at length at SEMA some years ago, 1st class company.

I'm in the exact same boat more or less. I am going with Kooks LT w their HF cats. Quality second to none. Fitment is great. Best price @Juiced with this sites code.

The least expensive long tube headers with high flow cats are OBX. I personally run Kooks and couldn't be happier with them. However, here's a list of header manufacturers with quality setups:
High priced: Kooks, ARH, Stainless Works
Mid priced: OBX, Texas Speed, Stainless Power
Budget: Speed Engineering
I would recommend 1 7/8" tube diameter or 2" if you plan a larger build down the road.

I have 2" TSP and had to be dimpled slightly to clear the steering knuckle.
