Lol that is pretty funny but i have to agree that the ZL1's engine bay looks like ass. Everything after that was just pretty much bias hating. Dont get it twisted tho, this place prolly has more of that then anywhere else, evey auto forum has it.

I would have to agree. The gt500 engine blows the zl1 engine compartment away in looks.

So it's come down to making fun of the engine bay because anything else they would say would be a lie or just plain wrong. I would rather have an ugly engine and beat your ass than have a pretty one that looses.

Wait until their 650hp outdated pile of crap gets it's ass handed to it by the ZL1. Then we'll see what they have to say.

things i learned from that thread;

the ford modular is much easier to work on.

the new gt500 outhandles the zl1.

gt500 owners seem to have a lot of rage issues.

Beauty IS in the eye of the beholder and this is one "beholder" that finally found something to agree upon with the GT500 fanboys!

I went back and took a second look at the ZL1 engine photos and it looks like the without the cover photo is a development car. There are funny colored wires and a wiggly one going into the CAI at or near the MAF. I doubt the production engine looks any better.

Of course, the Ford fanboys didn't say much about how ugly the exterior of their GT500s are....I'm sure they wish Ford would make a plastic cover to hide that ugliness...I've seen better looking hemoroids!

I got a good laugh out of reading that. When I read things like that written by a bunch of 16 year old boys and remember the ole saying, "Better to reamin silent and be thought a fool than to speak out and remove all doubt". Some of those guys were just talking out their asses so I wouldn't take much offense if I were a ZL1 owner.

They used to call it talking "smack". I haven't heard that term in a long time, but it really is foolhardy to talk all this talk, but better to wait til the smoke clears before you speak too loudly!

I will say this, the CamaroZL1 guy who boldly signed up on that forum to try talking back really didn't have good debating skills. I think they're all idiots and in that particular instance, I can't decide which car was defended more inappropriately.
