Didn't know that, I was under the understanding that Crown had completely split off from JBL. It's cool that they are still together, as they made some seriously cool stuff, lol!

You all ready for a few build pics?! :-) Gary Biggs looked at my car today and looked at the progress. He is actually had me port the subs that are cabin firing so i would be able to keep up with the anniversary 660gti's :-) so all in all its turning into a crazy build. should be all wrapped up and tidy by tomorrow night! :-) Taking an extra day because my 660's didnt arrive till 3pm today and they had to make changes to a ported box.

Ported FTW!!! What did they tune the the box to? That is flat out going to rip!! I can't remember, you are upgrading battery right? JBL isn't known as the most efficient power on the the planet, lol.

yes it has a 600farad capacitor, AKA battery. :-) and yes its tuned by harmon/JBL specs. As i said before gary biggs is assisting in the install, he's works directly for JBL for car audio!

Went and saw it today! I'm in heaven! those crossovers are HUGE! 6"x11" :-) they have them hidden under the amp rack panel! its so legit! They were putting the door speakers in at 2:30pm ct today and getting the panels on.. Cant wait to hear it! i mean i could've done some serious motor work for this $$ but its something i really use all the time and it looks SIIIIIIICK!!!! :-)

Wanted to take a pic but they had three guys working on it and i didnt want them to take a break. Hopefully they call me in a little bit! :-)

Looks like its gonna be tomorrow by noon.. they screwed up and didnt bypass the center channel so the door chimes were off the hook loud lmao!

On my way to pick it up! :-) they have been tuning it since 9AM. You all will love it when you see pics!:-) say bye bye trunkspace i have maybe 2'x2' left. But thats what GM designed the backseat for right? ;-) I dont think any human can fit behind me being 6'3" and all. The carbon fiber speaker grilles are DOPE!!! and they got a JBL 60th anniversary emblem from Biggs and placed it between the two 10's. :-) woot woot!

I'll have pics up by 4:00ish hopefully! :-)
