Rate That Mod Day 9: MRT v2 for V6

Alright! Here we are again for another day of Rate the Mod! The Scores So far!

Anvil Notched Spoiler 9.21
Muffler Delete (V8) 8.29
Terminator CF Hood 3.89
Razzi Body Kit 2.30
Kooks LT Headers 9.47
NS-1 Stripe Package 7.46
Cold Air Inductions Intake 9.59
Plasti - Dip 8.15

Well the results are in and Plasti-Dip did pretty well! Now for today's Mod, The ever popular MRT v2. In my humble opinion there is not a better axle-back exhaust for the V6 Camaro. This exhaust is quiet enough for a cruise through the neighborhood but when at WOT this sucker SCREAMS. Letting everyone around become aware to your presence...and in a good way! Its common knowledge that you wont get that v8 roar out of your v6, but this sure as hell is the next best thing!

My score, 9/10

I also want to say that when applicable I will try to use pictures and videos to represent the mods in question just to give people an idea of what the mod is like if they do not already know. I pull these at random either from Google, YouTube or even this website. If you find that I have used something you submitted and want me to take it down please let me know and I will immediately!

I AGREE! So far had it for two months and it is definitely worth it! Oh and like some of ou have read, it really does mellow and season when you use it more, it gets better as you drive with it. Really great mod.

It is a 10 + in my BOOK.............

Here is a few videos for you:

This one is from inside my Camaro on the way to the dragstrip.

This one is from inside my Camaro while at the dragstrip. Sorry about the Camera tipping.

This one is one that SCRMNG filmed for me while we were at the dragstrip. the last 30 seconds is me on a single pass.

This last clip is one that danrc28 put together when visiting me to hear a MRT 2.0 system. He went from Toronto to Florida and back stopping along the way picking up sound bytes. The video starts off with outside rev's, then an on ramp full throttle run, then an acceleration run from inside while talking about drone. Tape finishes with me passing the camera on the highway doing 3rd gear runs. Which has not been recorded by anyone else using the MRT (or at least I am not aware of anyone with this type of recording.) (rcat's)

This last video is how they sound with OBX headers and Magnaflow resonated X pipe. Certainly no V8, but does not sound like a V6 either.

All my mods are listed in the sginature.

ENJOY

Sounds better, but fit and finish aren't as good as Loud Mouth II.

9/10

Very little, I would think. Had them on my '12 1LT and sounded about as good as a V6 can sound. Don't have the car anymore but here is a video.

I give 'em a 9.

I loved my MRT 2.0, I'd give it a 9/10.
