exhaust not as loud as before?

I've noticed my exhaust has lost a little raspiness and loudness. It sounds a bit more muffled than usual. Could this be due to the cats clogging? An air filter that needs replacing or something to do with the spark plugs/wires?

I have stock plugs, granatelli hi temp wires. Kooks LT with kooks hi flow cats. X pipe with magnaflow axle back deletes. CAI cai with maybe 16k miles on the filter.

Wouldn't I get a CeL if a cat were to be clogged? Or misfiring if a plug is messed up? I havnt really began any trouble shooting. Just kinda speculating right now. Any ideas?

probably the cats are starting to break down and clog, high flow cats have never been known to last long, cant think of a reason anything other than exhaust would cause anything you listed

he did not tell me that the cats did not last long when I went to his shop and had the Dynatech High Flows installed on mine, that is why I asked Ted who.

Cats are Fine on N/A cars but won't last with superchargers.

Passing emissions is a whole different subject than cats surviving.

Proper Tuning is critical to CAT Life, I find many Tuners Turn off Cat Overtemp Protection fueling, and this will melt the cats.

Ted.
