Question Interior Trim

Hello all, I was wondering since I have a 1SS. I love my cloth seats, but I wish the door and dash trim was like the 2SS's (as in painted Silver, Red, etc.). I have seen these pieces sold from time to time. But I was wondering, if I took off my cloth pieces, is it possible to strip the cloth and paint them to whatever I want or will it not work. Didn't know if anyone has done this or not. Thanks in advanced.

Send a message via Yahoo to Orange5thGen
You can always do a search on ebay or Salvage yard for door panels from 2LT or 2SS like I did and came with the ABL and was orange like I wanted. I was even able to get the dash trim pieces too.

I'm having custom leather seat covers made in white and orange.

Where is this Lighting at? Because I like my doors the way they are other then the Cloth inserts. But I guess so far it seems like no one has done this Mod.

You can peel the cloth right off. I did couple of days ago and they are getting painted this weekend. Buy a used set of interior trim and practice on those.

There is a used set in the buy/sell interior section

It's a patterned fabric they used in the 69 Camaros. Look it up on Google.
