Question Painting interior LT Cloth-Covered trim pieces?

I know someone on here said they took the panels off the door and dash and removed the cloth and painted them. How hard is this to do? Who out there has done it? What did you use? Describe your process for me; I want to do it but am a little scared

Hey, i just did mine myself, real easy to take apart the panels but removing the plastic pieces that are melted on is time consuming. I used an utility knife and it worked good. I covered mine in green houndstooth instead of paint to be different and i love the outcome! Here's a few pics.

Do you have any pics of the process? What plastic is glued on that you are referring to?
