Nice car! Never been one to put the HP in a 'vert though. Seems oxy-moronic to me.

I was lukewarm on the regular Mustang restyle- but the GT500 is SHARP. Especially in convertible. Of course, I just received my latest retirement account statement- maybe I can just cut a big hole in the hood of a Nissan Versa and yell 'vroom' real loud out the window.

Bah what a sucky couple of years to be a car nut.

Well, this is clearly the top dog of this generation (unless a Z/28 is on the way), but the Camaro SS is undoubtedly the better deal for the price.

Yes the GT500 is an amazing vehicle. I was just told the other day that my cousin has fords x plan hmmmmmmmm

Car and Driver did 3 passes including letting a Ford driver run it, and the best they ran was a 12.9 with a 4.6 0-60? Am I missing something?

Motortrend has totally diff. Stats 0-60 4.3 1/4 mile 12.4 so maybe you and car and driver are missing something LOL

Looks like the Mustang boys have something to brag about. Except for maybe the price tag. I'd be looking at a Corvette at that price, or aftermarket supercharging a Camaro SS. But the Mustang can hold it's head high with this car, impressive.
