Injector swap to ID850s...just finished
I don't have any pics so don't complain...lol! The swap isn't that difficult but it isn't simple either. If you haven't swapped injectors before, you may want to consult someone that has before diving in unaided. The wire removal is simple as you must unlock the USCAR connector lock(green) then squeeze and gently pull up. When you look at where the injector sits in the manifold, it appears very tight...it is very tight and they sit straight up too. Loosen the supercharger hat bolts so the end of the bolts aren't sitting so close to the fuel rail. Thank goodness for the flexibility of the o-rings otherwise you would never get these to release from the manifold. Unplug the coil packs too and get the harnesses out of the way. They are attached to the fuel rail at numerous locations with a few nylon buttons and flexible plastic clips. Of course have a GM fuel rail tool to release the fuel line from the rail...have a rag ready. Be prepared to cuss when manipulating the rail to get the injectors out of the manifold...even more so when installing the new ones. Hope is helps and ask questions if you need any tips.
