Draging an auto ZL1

I am ready to hit the strip. Can someone please tell me the best launch configuration for an automatic. Or, if someone has a video showing it that would be awesome.

Thank you!!!!!

Launch in "M" not "D" and let the tranny do the shifting. You will see an S in the indicated gear location. Let air out of rear tires to 24-25 psi for a better footprint. Do a small burnout with stock tires and roll up to the line. Depress brake and go with a very small amount of rpm against the brake to preload the driveline. If you are too agressive, it will spin the tires (this is dependent upon track prep). Launch with about 1/2 throttle and then gently + quickly squeeze the throttle the rest of the way to the floor and hold on. Let the car do the rest. You can run in PTM mode 5 or traction control off (one press of the traction control button). I prefer traction control off but either mode will work with similar results. If you have drag radials, you can be much more abrupt with the throttle and not have to worry about traction as much.

I recently went to the drags in my auto ZL1. I ran the car in Sport (M) with traction off and in PTM5. PTM5 launched much better, and ran 0.3 faster ET.
