Noooooooo. Say it ain't so.....
As if the idea of the Ute coming to the US wasn't bad enough, now this?
http://www.autoblog.com/2008/02/13/r...the-el-camaro/ Okay, just somebody's idea, using photoshop and such, but still, please don't put any of these bad ideas in GM's head. They are on a roll right now and we don't need anything to get in their way. |

Ah, yes, I heard they were thinking about bringing El Camaro back... but those pictures are really... bad.

Awww... C'mon you guys. Did none of you like the original El-Camino? It's a hell of a lot better than the SSR or that other concept. The Denali XT is a far worse idea than this would be.

The idea of remaking the El Camino is bad enough. Using the Camaro as the basis is far worse. It's demeaning to the Camaro. The Denali XT is so much a concept that you can't really say too much about it. The "El Camaro", well, it's just to easy to see GM spinning off this POS so they can help spread some costs out over another line. I don't really see GM doing it, but I can see where they could justify it. |

El-Camaro!
Come on, you know it would have a dedicated following. All 10 000 or whatever that would be produced would be loved by their owners, and nobody else. think of all the people that love Camaros, and El Caminos. Its like chocolate and peanut butter. Two great tastes that taste great together.

Of course I'd never buy one, but if you're going to do something wrong, it's better to do it right.

Chevy already has too many models, otherwise I like it. I also really like the G8 ST and Denali XT concept. I probably wouldn't own either because they don't fit my lifestyle, but they're still nice.

i actually think its not bad looking....but we all know that from concept to production, 90% of cars go down hill!

The El Camino being brought back would be the same as the DeLorean or the Challenger. Only for previous owners who want to enjoy a warranty again.
