vmax tb

i had just gotten my vmax tb from pete at vmax and let me say i love it....i had my shop (TuneTime Performance) install it on the dyno after they did a pull first with my heavy 22 inch wheels on the car and i put out 397 rwhp....then they swaped it and did a pull and i put 406 rwhp...so i got 9 rwhp from the vmax tb

Nice numbers from the VMax But just know ahead of time, there are several on here that don't want you gaining HP from the VMax.But they will have to get over it.

Post up the dyno sheets to show all. We wanted to see a totally independant test like this. Pete is the authority on these for sure!

Pete had called and told me about the results on this and glad you posted up

Seems to be close to my original testing data back in November in this thread:

http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=113634

Also similar to quite a few other folks out there.

Congrats and thanks for the info.

Sort of off topic, but what does vmax actually mean? Many people are offering them. Are they all sent to the same shop to be machined or is it just a style that multiple shops around the country are porting?

Only one shop does the CNC porting as it is a proprietary design owned by Pete Incaudo of VMax Motorsports. Click on my sig and "find more posts" and the VMax thread should answer all or most of your questions. As we understand, this is the ONLY throttle bodies available with this porting design thus the power gains.

...you don't have a sig. I got really excited to read up on TBs and then no sig. :(
