Cons of a ZL1

I'm entertaining the idea of a new ZL1 @20% off. I am aware of the pros for the ZL1, but can current owners tell me the cons?
Any little detail you dislike.. Issues/Quirks. Additional maintenance. (Currently have 2010 SS)
Just need as much data so I can make the decision.
Thanks.

I'm not a fan of the navigation. That's about it, lol. I came from a C6 and don't regret the decision at all.

You need to get one because there are several from oklahoma on this forum!! That is a good enough reason! Anyway,I have a 2013 ZL1 and I cannot tell you one thing I do not like about it. It is a awesome car.If you have not drove one you need to.Before I bought mine I read everything I could find out about these new camaros and it has lived up to all of the things that was said about them. The ride and performance of these cars are just great. The only thing you should check out is if you buy a 2014 or a 15 model they are available with recaro seats and some like them and some do not. You need to go and sit in both and see which ones you like. Other than that you will see it is alot better car than the SS I believe. Let us know when you get your new ZL1!

If you are tall and plan on doing events that require a helmet you may hit your head since it has a sunroof.

I just looked at the link you posted on the car you are looking at buying. If you plan on racing your car any some complain about getting the moon roof. They say when they wear a helmet it hits the part of it that is inside of the car. I ordered mine without the moon roof just in case I ever did track my car.

Nice car you are considering - I like the red.

The only con I can think of has already been mentioned and it is the decreased headroom of the moonroof. It's not an issue unless you have a helmet on or are tall; I'm 6'0 and it isn't an issue without my helmet but with it I will have to adjust the seat lower and back a bit more.

I wouldn't have ordered the moon roof but it is a really nice option.

The only other 'con' (for some) is the attention the ZL1 brings. Mine is black so it's a little more stealthy but the other colors - especially the red, white or yellow - will draw even more admirers like moths to a flame!

Good luck with your decision. I know you will love that car!

As everyone has mentioned, the sunroof is my one and only complaint about my ZL1. There is nothing else I don't love about this car. I have never driven a car like it. It defines the term muscle car.

You will not regret owning a ZL1. And at this price, it's almost like stealing it. Wow!

Snatch it up before it's gone.

I have had my 2014 for 9 months. Only Con i have at this time is the sound system. The Boston acoustics system is pretty crappy considering the cost of the car. However replacing the factory amp and adding a sub take care of that.

No cons on my end. If you are considering one I say go for it. Now is the time with the 20% off.

The only thing that sucks about this car is the fuel economy. The headroom is a problem too with the moonroof, but adjusting the seats will take care of that.
