Gforce Engineering axles and driveshafts coming soon

I've had allot of calls and emails from the new Gen5 crowd on when we would get into the market.

Well, the answer is real soon.

This week we start work on prototype axles, driveshafts and spools.

A couple of customers have requested we build a race axle that will hold 1.20 60ft times and 1500 hp so that is what I'll be working on first.

The new severe duty race axles are called the "Outlaw" series.
They will feature large 33 spline axle bars made from 300m, 300m is the strongest material available for making axles.
The diameter of these axles are darn near 1.5" and that is a constant thickness not a necked up diameter after the splines.
They will use larger cv joints then what is currently available on the market.
The inner stubs will also be 33 splines and also made of 300m. These stubs will be larger in diameter then the OEM stubs.
We will also release a 33 spline spool to complete the package.
We'll also offer a spool to work with the OEM stubs and aftermarket stubs.
Hopefully the differential manufacturers will follow with a 33 spline posi.

Were working on a one piece carbon fiber driveshaft that will be supplied with a billet pinion yoke.
We'll be working in conjunction with PST in Florida to develop these shafts.
We have had great success with these shafts and pinion yokes in the GTO market.

Once we get the "Outlaw" series race axles, stubs and spools done we'll work on the regular race axles.

Give me a shout if you have any questions.

Thanks
Chris @ Gforce Engineering

Excellent Chris..

What are your thoughts on the strength of the case? Will it hold together with these aftermarket components? Can you give me your target time frame for availability of the outlaw series? Please PM me with any details you have. I am looking for a total rearend solution.

Thank You,
Bruce

What are the specifications for the "regular race axles"?
Im interested in axles for "weekend dragstrip racers" with power bewteen 450rwhp-600rwhp. (or people with blowers who want peace of mind during hard street launches)

So basically the question is how much power are going to handle the "regular" ones....

thanks

The regular race axles will be rated to 1000hp.
They will have 300m axle bars, 300 inner stubs, 4340 outer stubs.
Heavy duty cv joints with chromoly cages.
We have a group buy going on now in the Vendor section.

Hey Bruce,
It was good talking to you the other day.

The guys at Nelson Racing Engines called my and we discussed what I'll be building for your car.
1500 RWHP is allot for an IRS but we should be able to build you a set up to hold it.
We'll be using our big 33 spline 300m "Outlaw" axle bars with big 33 spline super duty cv joints.
These axles are right at 1.5" diameter of solid 300m and the cv joints are huge compared to anything on the market.
We'll match this all up with either 33 spline or 35 spline billet 300m inner stubs.
We'll be developing a spool for the diff that will be either a 33 spline or 35 spline depending on how much room we have in there.

I'm really looking forward to building these parts!

Thanks
Chris

Chris,
Will there be any 33 or 35 spline posi/clutch or racthet or even the Eaton Torsion design units? Just wondering.

Not sure yet. A 33 spline posi would be easy for the manufacturers to make, the 33 spline size fits inside the OEM bearing ID. A 35 spline would require something a bit larger but could be done.

Thanks
Chris
