Secondary cat delete still throwing CEL. Send help. Please.
Hello everyone! I’m in a situation and am having trouble coming to a solution/answer. Hopefully you guys can help.
I originally got my secondary cat deleted. Went a few days driving with no issues. Didn’t drive car for 3 weeks, then got a CEL for exhaust leak when I eventually drove again. Went back to get it re-welded and CEL went off but came back a few days later with a code for O2 sensor (Bank 2 sensor 2). Put in a new sensor and installed axle back exhaust. After install of new exhaust and sensor, still got the same code. Then added O2 sensor spacers, STILL getting the same code. Code was cleared after each one of these steps but it still comes back. People delete secondary cats all the time, what the **** am I missing?? 😤😤 Bringing car back to shop on Monday but wanted to pick everyone’s brain before I pull all of my hair out lol. |

When I deleted my secondary cats I got rid of the rear o2 sensors and turned them off in HP Tuners and turn off all of the related diagnostic codes.
