East Texas Meet

Hey guys, ill hopefully have my Camaro tomorrow and it would be really cool to get a meet together here in East Texas.
There is a Whataburger car show the first thursday of every month but the last one is in november im pretty sure. I went to the one before the one in October and not one Camaro showed up... plenty of mustangs, couple challengers though. Then a couple weekends ago there was a car show at the Longview mall and there was one RJT there.
Anyways Id just like to organize an east texas meet sometime at the end of october or early November. Whos in?

The shopping center over there by Target and Kohls has a big nice well lit parking lot (if the time is later in the evening). Maybe we can make lil cruise or something too. I'm thinking a Saturday afternoon... what would be better for most of you guys... The first or second Saturday of November.

Yeah that sounds perfect, grab a bite to eat at Buffalo Wild Wings or something, park all the cars together, then go on a little cruise somewhere, Either of those dates work for me

How far is Longview from Tyler? I would be in for a cruz with you guys if it fell on the weekend when we are up there (live in Katy) for a visit.

About a thirty to forty minute drive depending on which side of town we decide to meet at.

Okay, chrisgalles suggested the parking lot at target and kohls and that sounds good to me, right down the street from my house

How about Saturday, November 7th, at 3PM at the Kohls Parking lot on HWY 259 (North of Loop 281).

Address for you guys who don't know the area:
Longview
3096 North Eastman Rd., Suite 100
Longview, TX 75605

We can do a lil meet and greet...take some pics of our cars... shoot the bull. Go for a cruise out in the country. I'll try and see what I can come up with as far as a nice scenic drive with plenty of curves. If any of you guys have any suggestions, feel free to post 'em here. Then we can make a little drive through town and show off our cars to the Longview crowd Then after that maybe we can grab some grub at BWW.

What do y'all think?

Sounds good to me. If you want to do some scouting on the route this weekend give me a call and we can do a pre-run. I think 450 north of Hallsville has turns on it. Mapquest would be a useful tool for this.

That sounds like a perfect plan to me, we just need to find a place to drive. Its going to be really cool when longview sees a line of camaros, it will be awesome to see their reactions. Im looking forward to it
