Lol Me too. Next to the CAI best mod. Plus it is practical. I painted the front, rear and side rails and strut bar. It kind of makes the plenium stand out. I want to do something with it just not sure. I do līke the strut ends in red. That looks good. I was going to either cap the bolt heads or paint them red.

I have to remove the perf cover on the track as it is a heat sink. lol

I think I will do something on the CAI cover(I know some dont like enclosed) I went with this one bc I live in central Texas and frankly far more practical. Again it is about preference and damn it it is my money and car. lol It has added +3mpg which is good since I do track the car. I would guess it hit hp as well as I am getting 527.759 to the wheel. Not too shabby for stock.

Out of money at this point so more to come.....

Thanks for sharing. Where did you buy yours?

Thanks. I would highly recommend. It not only looks good it works well. I live in Tx so I do have places to road test. It really holds the car stable. 130 on 130 for 6 miles barely a shimmy. I removed my hands from the wheel (not safe) just to see and no walking.

I do recommend professional install. You don't want it flying off. It is about 45-hour labor. They spent more time doing the tow hooks.

I meant 45mins to an hour for install. Sorry that was not clear.

Bought the chrome emblems online and used 3M tape to secure them. The ZL1 badge that I bought to replace my bowtie came with a 580HP emblem. But I have added the 100 horse Jannetty Racing package so I had to make it right!

Got the emblems here.... http://www.chromeautoemblems.com/index.php

Has anyone found different color struts or painted the ones that come with it? I have an all black zl1 and would love to have them in black as well.

You can't paint the ones that came with it they are stainless.

As for a different color you may be able to send yours into be anodized in black or black chrome but that will come with a heavy price.

You can go with a different company's rod in a black and make it work but will certainly be a less fancy design. The rods themselves are not cheap.

I wound up taking the fascia off to install color shift halos so I completely redid it right. Originally I secured some big washers behind the grill slats and secured the rods to them. Never was right though. Pull the front off. Follow the DYI and you will be fine. I have had mine off a few times now.
