Steve C. ,their ad guy said the video they are showing at SEMA would be up on their website tomorrow. It's got great animation and explanations on it like their Mustang video has.

Let me know if there is anything else (besides price and ship date ) you'd like me to ask these guys while I have easy access to them.
When the video is available, can you provide a link please?

Time to set up a group buy to get the first units at a special price and a numbered limited camaro5 run. Sticker or engraved logo or something.

They said that they will offer a couple versions. They are aluminum, not plastic, so some customizing should be doable. The top cover can also be changed, and or customized for a shop/tuners logo.

You will just need a different tube, same airbox. They will be availalbe seperatly from Airaid or Edelbrock. That's for the Comp. kit. The EO'd kit must use the stock enclosure.

Gotta go to another breakfasst meeting this morning. TT you all tonight.

The Airaid SC version will have a different part number, and would have to go thru another EO validation on the supercharged car. Too expensive.

Not the whole kit. I'm curious if the ls3 airaid intake by itself is smog legal. And if I get the smog legal SC if it will still pass smog together

tho I think u said something about the intake tube being different (but a little modification to fix it I doubt smog shop wud notice)

no not the heat exchanger, look at the pick where they have the cut away of the s/c. item 4. on the pdf i believe it said that was the intercooler. if so even if theres one on each side imo its still small, dont think it would be efficient when ur in higher double digit boost levels.

Hi guys, I'm at the LV airport and dog tired. I have lots of pics to post over the weekend. Since Friday morning is pretty quiet (banquest was last night and everyone is out late, I got some uninterupted time talking to Rob Simons and Vic Edelbrock.

I shoild be able to get numbers sooner.
Here is the supplemental warranty for the Powetrain. http://www.edelbrock.com/automotive_...ranty_Form.pdfWhich like other manufacturers is through an insurance company. The SC it's self is cover by Edelbrock of coarse.

It will be plenty. Again boost levels don't need to be as high to make the same or more power as other more restricted designs. I'll try to get the total surface area

Talk with Rob about this today. They are completely removing the AFM solenoids and hardware. There are a lot of issues with AFM timing and boost, so they are just deleteing it.
Versions for LS7 and cathedral ports are in the works.

Sounds like something I would like to add to my car too..

May not be the highest hp blah...blah...but if its OEM like reliability is the real deal...then that alone would make it a preferred choice.. (as long as the price is appropriate)

This makes it tough i had it down to TVS2300 and whipple. Now this comes. I would love to see a shootout with each super charger with just headers, exhaust and CAI, at stock PSI.

Yeah - I haven't found one test where all settings are the same.

Pricing, Warranty, and Fuel Pump

I talked to the Edelbrock guys at SEMA and they are shooting for pricing
at around $6995, but it might be in the low $7000 range.
The warranty is on the whole powertrain, and will cost somewhere around
$400 extra. To qualify for the warranty you have to have the kit installed
by an ASE certified shop, a dealer's shop or an Edelbrock preferred shop. No backyard mechanics.

The kit makes 599 hp on the 2010 Camaro LS3, not 549 hp like the sign said
at SEMA. The sign was using numbers from the intro test for a corvette.
Also the OEM fuel pump on the Camaro has a variable speed electric fuel pump
already and it flows more than enough for this supercharger, so they
don't have to do anything to your factory fuel pump. No Kenne Bell boost a pump needed, the stock pump already already acts like a Kenne Bell. The Corvette fuel pump is not as good of a pump, so it has to be upgraded.
