yeah im thinking the same.just found this thread and i have my entire car hooked up with leds. and this setup in green would complete my light show. heres just a little of what i have.

I wonder if he can do 2 colors so you can switch between the 2. I'm torn between using yellow or blue on my baby...

this is a double decker light so there can be 2 different colors or all one color....read other updates.

But he's making the light to fit in the mailslot, and you have a V6, so where would you put it?

Some are asking so here goes

I will sum it up for all:

This light is only designed for the V8 in mind due to its mail slot. We V8 owners hated the fact that the mail slot was not functional and that a plain peice of plastic was inserted. So i took it upon myself to put my 3rd gen light on top of the hood in the video to see what it would look like. Now almost 5 months later we will have a mail slot insert replacement. What will be in this replacement is a "Double Decker" scanner light that will have an LED trail as you saw in the video with speed controls and pattern controls (3 diff patterns/color combo's) Also if you get the two tone scanner you will be able to scan from one color to the next. The scanner has the ability to do some 256 different shades to progress to the next color (will check more on that). but you can have all one color or "Two-Tone" it, to have the colors go from one to another.
Because i gave him my mail slot, his designer was able to create a PCB replica so he could mount the lights. This poly carb will be tinted so it does not look out of place while hiding the LEDs until right up on it. The polycarb will not dim the lights in any manner for they are bright enough that they will still retain their LED goodness. You can read how this is going to function by the updates i have given above. Below are the steps i expect and shoot for when installation time comes. Remember this will be portable (lock mechanism still underway).

Planned install steps:

1. Pop out your old insert
2. pop in new 2010 PCB Scanner
3. locate power source (I think he has a wireless option, this way no wires need to be run)
4. Secure it to chassis (by way of laptop wire, or other securing device, we are still working)
5. Point Key fob or Button to make it go "Hello Michael!!!!"

Now everything may not go as planned but everything so far has. We have kept it "Cut Nothing". So once i get my hands on it to install i will have a full write up and video so it shouldn't be hard at all. Hope i answered most questions.

This is probably one of the few mods I'm actually a little giddy about, simply because it requires absolutely no cutting or drilling to the body, and doesn't require any factory wiring harness splicing. Plug-n-Play is our friend

i swapped my LT fascia for an SS facia a couple months ago. havent been able to take new pics of it cause my damned painter has had my car for over two months. GRRRRRR!!!
