I believe they are redline wheels and they are sold as part of the SLP packages.

They were orig. done for the Dale Jr. 2010 Camaro. He had something to do with the design.

Don't think the are avail. yet. I have ordered the grill (on Dale Jr. car) every monday since May of this year. The order gets kicked back every week. Still is not avail. Prob. the same situation with the wheels.

Not! Those are the wheels on the Camaro Concept convertible. That's the 'vert concept in the photo.

Yes, they were originally done for the vert. But, they are also the Dale Jr wheels. Same wheels...same design...same size...same orange pin going around the wheel.

Same wheel.

SLP made two wheels for us folks who love this style.

The SLP wheel size are IDENTICAL to the size on the current SS...the 20x8's up front and 20x9's out back. This way, we can order the wheels but just swap out the rubber....

The two sets of wheels (pictured below) are of the ZL575 wheel (only available in a package deal) and the open to the public to purchase wheel that is painted black.

.....

If you want those wheels (as do I), then you are going to need to pass on the umpteen million dollar GM wheels (which is freaking OBSURD at that price) and buy the black SLP wheels and get someone to paint them

They run $1,200 from SLP and you could get someone to paint them for $400 for the entire set. $1,600 for a set of 4 or $3,500 for a set of the ones in the OP's original post.

Here's the pix and what I'm going to do.

Pic one is of the ZL575 wheel
Pic two is of the SLP 20" black wheel

The rest of what I'm going to do. (the last two show a blue pin stripe going around the wheel...which would have been cool on it's own, but is going to be overkill with the blue Brembos I'm going to do.)

Those are some seriously heavy looking wheels! Can't be good for performance.

I contemplated doing this...but where in the world would you make your lines on the wheels so they can be polished AND CGM? You really couldn't. (I want polished and cgm) That's why I decided to look around....and of course, when I saw the vert wheels in Jan 07, I fell in love with them...and then on the Dale Jr car?....just solidified my choice. They look GREAT on this Camaro!

They do look heavy....but, I won't be racing all the time. So, the trade off for me is simple. I wonder what the weight is....I'll have to find out.

Stock wheel vs SLP wheel.

EDIT: SLP wheels are not on the site yet....not sure about weight unless we call or PM Dave.

That is all paint! Under clearcoat. Can't even feel the line. So, polish away!

No...I know. I want polished, as in silver (no paint...just polished bare metal) AND CGM painted. Not "polished CGM." The rim would be paint and metal

Last thing I want to do in my life is polish a set of wheels. I had a pair on the first bike I built. The next two that I built had chrome wheels. Windex and go! So very easy.

Wheels are a version of the Accessory wheel which should be available 3rd qtr 2010. The grille will be available in December/Jan. of 2009/2010.

It started out as a GM wheel color then my painter added black to it till he liked the way it looked.
