i was talking to my dealer yesterday, he said they are having rebates already

I heard a radio ad on Halloween that Kool Chevrolet in Grand Rapids, MI was selling camaros for $25 over invoice. This was a Halloween day special only, but I didn't check to see if they actually had any in stock. The dealer closest to me has 5 Camaros on the lot.

I think the Camaro in the US is well priced. Up here in Canada it is a different story. I think SS's are over priced by a solid $4000. 2SS with the same build is about $9000 more Canadian. Plus we have 14% sales tax here in Ontario! We really get hosed. I plan on getting a 1SS/RS/L99. $42000 MSRP, $47,000 after taxes! After exhaust and header upgrade you are at $50000 easy! To be honest I really don't see a $50000 car there! I am starting to get cold feet. They are threating high gas prices again. Canadian auto insurance is supposed to go up 30% soon. Plus we have a new tax possibly coming for next July that will see an 8% tax added to gasoline! A couple thousand bucks off actually makes a decent change overall. Would be nice!
