whipple pulley question
I have a 2.9 whipple on a stock ls3 (has headers, cats, cai and tune) and run on 93 octane. The pulley is a 4 inch currently. i was wondering how much smaller pulley I can run on 93 octane and what kind of gain I might get by changing the pulley size?

Gotta see if you have enough fuel pump and injectors, then maybe think of the pulley.

Talking to Mike Malicoat @ Whipple, I was told several years ago that a good rule of thumb is about +25hp for every 1/8" of pulley diameter decrease.
If I recall correctly, I was tapped out on the fuel system around the 625rwhp mark. |

No fuel system will get you to ~625. Boost a pump extends that to maybe 725-750... MAYBE. It's all dependent on fuel, so do the big fuel system and only cry once, or do it in chunks and cry a lot along the way
