Yeah, I see the relation between the lowering of cars and with people wearing their pants below their ass. Don't be a jack ass!!
How much money does it cost on average to lower a Camaro?

Depends on if you keep it simple and just use springs or get more involved and use coilovers. I think I saw a spring kit as low as $250 and unless you do the install you'll need to add money for that.

There are some companies out there. I personally prefer DSE, but they are pricey. BUT,...you get what you pay for as well.
There's PDAFT and PEDDERS as well. Do a search in this section for lowering.
GOOD LUCK!

I'm being a little OCD. I want red springs to match my MTI sway bars. Whose are Red?

thx!

was 1.5' for the front and 1.4' for the rear..

the springs were $389 I believe and the sway bars were $499.. maybe not the cheapest on the market but I feel very satisfied with them.. Like I said its a night and day difference on the handling portion and feel I gave up nothing in ride comfort.. Best of both worlds IMO.. It really is amazing and I would recommend this setup to any Camaro owner..

After install of the springs the car must be aligned so you have that cost as well..

edit: 1sickss, I just noticed you're from Atlanta.. MTI is just up the road from you.. Should give them a call and see what they can do for you! 8) www.mtiracing.com

Do these 5th gens need anything other than re-alignment after lowering (ie Caster/Camber plates, bushings, etc)?? I'm coming from mustangs and lightnings so just trying to learn the rules of lowering on these cars now.

... based on all the pictures so far... I would say DSE (Detroit Speed) 1.5" drop looks the best...

For those with DSE springs... How does the car ride with that much drop on the stock shocks?
