I will buy one AFTER the snow season. I want to get an LS3 SS around May 1 09. Then I will buy a set of Blizzak LM-25 225/60/18" that are the same height as the OEM 20" SS tires, 28.7". It will be my daily driver here in northern IL. If we get a BIG snow fall I will stay home. I only work 14-12 hour days a month, 2 miles from home. So I will take it real easy when I have to drive it in the winter.

I can’t imagine GM wouldn’t make a Z28 or whatever they want to call it. It would be a limited edition model using parts bin pieces (except for maybe some mild body changes like the hood or front fascia). I wouldn’t expect it until spring of 2011 though.

Spring 2009 Coupe
Spring 2010 Convertible and limited run cosmetic package for the coupe (think Bullet or any other edition mustang)
Spring 2011 Z28 coupe and possible convertible
Fall 2012 Mild refresh

Something like that would be my guess.

2010 is going to be one of the greatest years in GM history. We have four brand-new midsize crossovers arriving, with some speculating that they will achieve close to 30 MPG. The new Buick LaCrosse blows away every lexus in its class. The CTS family grows with the Coupe and Wagon. The Chevy Cruze hits dealer lots, expected to be the most fuel efficient compact sedan in the market at 45 MPG. Then the Chevy Volt arrives in November, freeing America from its dependency on foreign oil.

And of course, we have the Camaro. Undoubtedly the best muscle car ever built, affordable for everyone, with a great balance of performance and fuel economy.

2010 will be big. 2010 will be the year everything changes. The competition better start ramping it up, because GM's back and better than ever, and they have no idea what's about to hit them.
--The 2010 Lacrosse does looks great
--The Volt will not single-handedly eliminate foreign oil dependency
--Camaro is what the future of muscle should be, very true. FUTURISTIC design with the latest technology. The Challenger design is like an aging hippie who couldn't let go of the past.
--I look forward to GM marketing to portray a higher level of sophistication than previoius years, which they're already starting to turn in that direction, and it's showing in their products.
