My FAQ:
* Yes, I currently have a 08 Mustang GT; NO, I’m not here to stir up trouble. I LOVED my 99 F-Body and I want T-Tops again! * I currently LOVE my non-Camaro and I hope you love what you drive just as much. * Who knows, I may be a fellow Camaro owner once I'm done loving my current car. I think the 5th Gen is terrific! * Don't read anything into my comments - take everything as someone who loves what I drive AND what you drive AND what the other guy drives. I am a REAL "Car Guy" and hope you are, too. |

I like certain parts of this, but it doesn't look like a complete and total package to me. It looks incomplete, like they should have done more to it.
Ex: honeycomb grills in the Lambo vents and the stock Chevy grill don't mesh. And yes... that was a pun. ![]() Going with a Lambo look and not having vents towards to rear of the car seems unusual too. Some Lamborghini Reventon/Murcielago style side mirrors would help as well. I'd be lying if I said I didn't like it for the most part though.

Will the VR come with a hovercraft option? What the hell?!
Design and art are subjective, but do these "artists" really have to add huge holes in the front? Let's add more edges - who would want to clean that? If Europe will buy more Camaros due to this design, then go for it. Adding to the bottom line from overseas is great. In addition to the "6 new striping options", however, I don't want to see this car on the road in the US. The only place for this car is in a video game or movie featuring a post-apocalyptic world. Inside the front holes will be rail-guns or lasers. Oh, and it will be able to fly.

I really like the styling idea, but I think that the Camaro needs a center grille at the bottom. I'd like to see a design compromising this component into the style of the body kit.

How do you people not like this?
I mean seriously, there are maybe 15 Reventons ever... and NONE OF YOU WILL EVER OWN ONE. So why not give credit where credit is due, and hand it to the designer who saw the potential that is the Reventon front bumber (which is awsome despite your opinions) and graphted it to the only worthy candidate... THE CAMARO!!!!!!! Life is about perspective, and from my angle that car looks badass. Quit bashing brilliance. It looks better than 80% of the Sema Camaros. |

This is no different and maybe even
more conservative than the Camaros being fitted with 18 thousand useless vents. I will GLADLY drive that car and catch small children in my bumper drifting.... Past you. |

The Reventon is a great car, no doubt about it. To see potential, I'm not sure that cutting and pasting the front of the Reventon onto the Camaro deserves credit. The Reventon is a complete vision, and that is why the front-end works for the Reventon, because the front end unites with the REST of the car. Going by the previous posts, most do not view this Reventon-Camaro morph as "brilliance". You are right, life is about perspective, and I do appreciate different types of art, created through any medium. Individually, we decide who deserves credit for design or achievement. We don't HAVE to give credit if we don't feel it's earned. I get it that the VR is pushing the envelope, and that is exactly what SEMA is all about. I do very much agree that a good amount of the SEMA Camaros aren't that great either (you'll see my opinions on those stripes that GM is pushing ). Apologies, but for me the VR falls in the SEMA category "most ridiculous Camaro".

If the "reventon" style openings in the front were half that size, it would look better. Overall I like it although it may be a little too aggressive for my taste.
