The rims will be the same just a different tint (darker), the body moulding on the roof will change from black(standard) to body color(rs package), rear spoiler stays the same (its an upgrade for the V6), Halos, tail lamps will be tinted (darker like the wheels) and badges...

Think thats everything...

SHAAAAWWWINNNNGGG. I do not care what people say about bumpers etc. This is the first car in my price range that has made me want to come back to north american muscle since the ZR1.

SS/RS Vert all the way. I will be patient, I will be patient, I will be patient. So I keep telling myself...

fbod- I am sure people will like both the driver and the car. After all the driver is responsible for helping bring us the car. heh.

2 bad things about the SS

1. the headlights (can get the good-looking HIDs w/ the RS package)

2. the bumper (can get the good-looking bumper w/ the RS package)

i'm gonna get the RS/SS in Red Jewel Tintcoat (close to color of my dad's '69 with a 454)
Attached Images

Unhappy Still not convinced

Scheduled to meet with dealer in Oct/Nov to go over build list, but looks like I will be passing on my waiting list spot for the SS.

Even after seeing this picture I am not convinced. I was attracted to a MODERN looking concept car, not something that can be confused for another car on the street.

I loved the concept car and what Hollywood did with it. However, I really think these lines are too rounded, hood is too short and the overall "Oh my god, look at that!" is missing from the production model.

The car looks nice. They have come a good ways with the front bumper compared to the pre production one. Where are all the interior/ suspension/ engine pictures like there were a month or so ago with the LT RS?? Come on they have to be somewhere!!

I gotta disagree with you. I think the production car looks almost identical to the concept. If you took the 22 inch wheels that were on the concept and put them on the production car, I don't think you'd be able to tell them apart.

GM did a great job. Compare it to the concept Mustang a couple years ago for the current 05 Stang GT. The concept looked pretty good. The production version looked a lot different, and a lot cheaper. Chevy did a great job of not letting this happen with the Camaro.

I thought the same thing. It has to be the position of the camera and the perspective angle.

The Camaro does look much meaner than the 'Vette though.

That image is almost like a younger sibling trying to out do an older one in agressiveness (which the Camaro does do).

it should be noted that Scott isn't the only one that's pictured driving the SS... seems like a "little weasel" got himself into those pics somehow
