A hatchback would negatively effect my decision to purchase, I have owned a few and found them to be less secure and less useful than a real trunk. Besides if I want to haul something thats what the wifes truck is for. If you don't have a truck borrow a friends or just rent a u haul truck for the day, this is a muscle car that can duo as a family sedan/grocery getter and is not intended to be a cargo vehicle.

And a trunk will make the back half of the car way more rigid. or it will weigh less than the extra bracing you probably need with a hatchback

I'm guessing that a Hatchback is heavier than a trunk. I'll take a trunk. It looks like it will be big enough anyways. I can pretty much garuntee that the rear seats would fold down. It's simple common sense.
