Camaro Fog Light Alternatives> Pics Inside

Guys, we have been working on some high-quality fog light alternatives for the Camaro. We were taking our time with this but I read members were actually installing fog lights from pep-boys (chills up my spine) so I figured we would post info and pictures of what we are working on.

These are HELLA modules, the German-made projectors found on late model Mercedes and other high-end vehicles.

Here is one we made for the LS utilizing the existing bezels. Our HELLA light kit installs with simple DIY modifications:

(The bumper does NOT need to be removed to install this. We installed with the bumper on and removed later for other reasons)

Here is an alternative for the RS models that has a similar projector and a custom matching black RS type bezel:

Both of these projectors have glass lenses and can run HIDs without any issues.

We are working out the mounting options for these now and will post pics and info as we go.

Nice options Justin - once we get the PW13 LEDs will see if those satisfy the RS hunger for a different DRL.

You guys will not stop until you've got all our discretionary income...

I think the P13W will hold you over for a while, this particular mod is more "involved" than just installing new bulbs.

Thanks, we tried to find some that went with the theme of the Camaro and not just throw something in there.

Oo I like these. You said that you don't need to remove the bumper what exactly do you mean by that? Did you hoist the car in the air to make the connections or did you just set them in there for the time being?

You unscrew the 3 screws in the wheel liner and access everything from there, no need to jack the car up either

This is basically an alternative to that, you can connect these to a switch for total control of the on/off function rather than DRL.

What's the difference between the first fog light that you posted and the rs fog light that you posted? Can they both go in an LS?

Those are the modules, we are making a Camaro-Specific kit with these modules.

They will both fit a LS but the second is made to mimic the look of the RS headlight.
