SLP SS Heritage Style Badging

Just got it installed today. I'm gonna take the original SS badging and put it on the sides underneath the Camaro badge. Looks much better to me. Cant stand the bowties.

The SS is definitely better. The only thing that would bother me is the obvious lines across the plastic where the original badging was taken out.

i had my dealership do it. But the install seems easy enough. the front is clip off and clip on. the back I'm not sure how that bowtie comes off. it doesn't explain in the instructions given. I didn't want to mess it up so I just had someone else do it. they charged me 20 bucks to install. but its pretty simple.

are you planning on taking off the original badges? I would hope so, and they should have had the option of getting ones that have RED letters, but they don't, and that is a shame.

The back bowtie is attached with 3M double-sided tape. You'll need some fishing line or something like that to pull it off, and then you have to clean off all the leftover glue.

I still can't figure out why everyone hates the bowtie so much...

THE BACK IS BOLTED ON AND YOU MUST GO THROUGH THE TRUNK. YOU WILL HAVE TWO HOLES ONCE REMOVED.

The back bowtie is not bolted on. It is attached with tape. Although there are two holes for allignment purposes. To remove use a heatgun or blowdrier and a piece of fishing line. Then just clean the remaining adhesive off.

yes i did get the original ss badging removed. I also removed the mounting bracket from the front, which was a bit tricky but now I have two badges I can reattach on the sides under the camaro badging. i think that will look cool.
