Ed Welburn drops strong hints on interior/exterior

Might be old news for some of you. But this video is very revealing:

Smile hopes...

I would like to think that when Ed states the interior of the production car will be even better than the prototype, he is not just telling us what we want to hear.

On the flip-side, "even better" is very much a subjective statement, so what he considers "even better" might turn out to be bogus to us, and vice-versa.

Here's to hoping that his standards are at least as high as ours!

Either that reporter is new or has downs? The information was very vague as well. I watched it mostly for the shots of the car. I do agree with marczsport. I really hope Ed's standards are along the same lines as ours.

I agree! I don't think that he is only telling us what we want ot hear. He seemed excited to talk, yet knew that he needed to keep his mouth shut.

3 things I noticed - "Halo for the brand" that put a smile on my face.

- center stack/controls is improved to be easier to use, and live with. Heout it also said that the overall execution of the interior design themes is better.

-He mentioned that the Coupe and Convertible are the only forms of Camaro...for now (sorry T-toppers) He also said that in any car, the convertible must be designed with the coupe to maintain a rigidity of the frame in vert form. Which means (in my mind) that GM has done a really good job keeping their mouth shut about the vert right after Coupe debut. I didn't here a word about it untill it came out: except the " Oh, they have to do it" and "everyone expects a convertible. But GM must have had it in the works since the beginning.

"The integration of the controls in the center console"

So a lot of the controls will still be in the center console! I love that about the concept interior.

And GM knows how much people love the interior of the concept. They probably just revamped it to make it smarter for everyday driving.

I'm hoping for the best!
