Mine arrived yesterday! But, they're a birthday present from my brother, so I have to wait another 2 weeks before I get to see them.

I can't wait to see them mounted in the garage!

I pick mine up from the frame shop tomorrow. It better be worth the $45 to frame.

Will do. I only got the heaven poster. Was going to do extra matting, but that was another $20. It's just a silver frame w/ glass, but it looked sweet when they had it set up. I'll post them as soon as I get it back.

Custom Frame

When I went to my dealer to get on "the list" (lol), I talked
my sales rep out of his poster back in July. I custom made my own frame out of OAK, and then hand made the chevy bow tie from Birch wood with the bright Gold color, and then hand made a raised plate tagged "CAMARO", I will try and get you a pic real quick to see what you all think. It is very big, I printed pics of the concept car and placed them down one side, when I get the real car I will take the same identical pics and place them below the poster, along with the cancelled downpayment check and the window sticker, this is my plan, let me know what you all think? The dimensions are 44" x 25 1/2". Im tryin to get a dang photo up.

There I think I got it now, let me know what you all think, and by the way I intentionally wanted the "L" brackets to be seen. Makes it look more like steel, just thought it would bring a unique aspect to the picture. Now I guess I gotta frame the other 4 posters, lol. That should take me awhile.

And here it is, Moose. It was worth every penny. I found it difficult to get a good picture of it that would really show it off. I have a small amount of glare from the glass. The flash was messing up the picture...bla, bla, bla. But, it has a beautiful silver frame, white matting, reg glass, and was professionally done. Even the backing was done up the way it should be. I am thoroughly impressed.

Local frame shop is correct. I'd been needing to do our wedding photo (FOR 5 YEARS NOW) and another picture we've had for about 3 years. When I got the Camaro photo, there was no question about it. They were all getting done now. We tried numerous combinations w/ black frame and silver matting, and the list goes on and on. But this seemed to work the best. Got to head back to work once again. catch ya'll tonight!

And thx for the compliment!

Thanks!!!

The white matting was initially requested. But when the lady said $70 for the whole setup, I said no way. I'd aldready spent $27. for the picture...then another $70??? OUCH! She said the white matting was $20, so I told her to do it w/out and I'd walk away spending $50. When I picked it up, I found out they threw it in anyway. TOO COOL.

Framing cost $54.
Picture cost $27.
= $81

Just for kicks, I built a frame on that website listed above. The frame is almost exactly like the frame I got from my local shop. The same frame w/ foam backing and plexiglass ran $73.32. If I paid for the matting, my total cost would have been $74. I'd say that's right on the money.

Yeah, I went to my local frame shop and the cheapest they would frame for is $100 plus tax and they started out at $136 plus tax for the 12” by 24”. Hum lets see three posters = $300 plus tax, holy sh*t I built them on this sight just like TAG’s for $45 for the 12” by 24” and $67 for the 12” by 36” with all options. Total cost of $187 including shipping ($30). Haven’t order them yet, still contemplating it

The actual frame size won't be 12X24. It's 16X28, I think. The picture is actually 12X24 but the frame needs to be larger (2 inches top/bottom and both sides). Check it again, because your price will probably go up. I'll measure mine here in a few...going to dinner and I'll LYK exact measurements when I get back.

No, there right. I did not say the frame was that size. The website automatically adjust the frame size when you order the outer border (I read the websit directions before building my frames). There is many different frame combinations on the site, that = different prices. Thanks for looking out though.

OOPS! MY BAD! Yeah, reading directions helps sometimes. Maybe my total cost would have come out a few dollars cheaper. Sorry bout that.

The actual frame size came out to 16X28 on my picture and my price will now change to a few dollars less on my mock frame (the exact frame which was built).
